SPRING FUNDRAISING DRIVE!

Praise the Lord!, We will be holding our Spring Fundraising Drive from February 24- March 10, 2011 this year. Your generous donation to this Ministry to the poor help up to Share the Love of Christ with those that desperately need the hand of God to reach out to them in a tangeable way! You are that hand!

Your donations to this ministry help us to help the poor and needy with the basics of life right here in the USA! We understand that times are tough right now, and that many of you cannot afford to help. But won't you consider this. Even a gift of $1.00, combined with the gifts of others adds up! If you can afford to send more, that would be awesome!

Throughout the Bible, we are instructed to remember to poor. Jesus Himself even told a man that to be perfect, he needed to sell all that he had and give to the poor, and follow Him (Matthew 19:20) In Acts 20:35, we find that it is more blessed to give, then to receive. In Matthew 26:8-9, we find that the diciples becoming indignant over waste, as the money could have been used to help the poor. In Matthew 5:42, we are commanded to "Give to Him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you. In Eph. 4:28, we are instructed to "Give to him who has need". And of course, there is the Malachi 3:8-10 which asks Will you Rob God? "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me! But you say 'in what way have we robbed you?' In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this says the Lord of Hosts, 'If I will not open the windows of Heaven and poor out for you such a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it!"

Why is it that God these tithes and offerings brought into the storehouse? So that there will be food in His house! Well we know that the Lord does not need to eat, the food is there to help the needy! When you give you tithes and offerings to a ministry such as ours, who help the poor, God says that He "Will open the windows of Heaven and poor out a blessing upon you that is so big, you cannot even contain it"!

Failure to obey God's command, is an opening for disaster. He says you will be cursed for having robbed Him! Blessing or Curse? Which one do you prefer? Are you going through hard times yourself? Have you been giving your tithes and offerings as the Lord has commanded? Or have you back because you "Couldn't afford it"? I am willing to bet that if you are going through difficulties, you have not given your tithes (10% of your income) or offerings! So that there will be something for those in need!... And if you are in need yourself, I bet you are pretty frustrated that the church cannot help you! I bet if you had tithed your income, and made special offerings (what the Lord leads you to give above and beyond your tithe) to a ministry whose function is to help the needy, you would be able to find the help you so desperately need.

Think about it, if every believer tithed their income, and then gave out of their excess income (Anything left after paying your tithe, and your basic needs are met). How much would be in God's storehouse? You can make the differance by starting today, and God will bless you in ways that you have never imagined!

Do you Doubt the Lord? Do you not believe that His word is true? If you do, then why not start today?  Gods Blessings are promised to you! And He will give you more then you can hold!
